There are quotes available on every niche, just search for some and you will find a bunch ready to get posted. Quotes works best on twitter, and if you manage to @attribute the one who has quoted, chances are that he will retweet your update. Usually, whenever that happens, it brings with itself plenty of new followers.

Quotes with Images

This is an improvement over the previous point. If you use a relevant image, attribute it and paste the quote on it, it will get much more attention. There are social sites like Pinterest which prefers visual content over text. Such sites prefer images and a quote on an image gets much more visibility.

Infographics

Since the content is of great value and is insightful and educational, such content get a lot of value on the social media.

Math Based Questions

These are interesting math problems that everyone wants to solve. They are easy, but take some time to think and work out, which makes it interesting. Some people get them wrong which makes it more interesting for the majority that gets it right.

Breaking News

Social media breaks the news first. Be it an earthquake or some other natural disaster – it is mostly the social sites that raises the alarm. People are on social media most of the time, they see something happening, and they quickly make an update. It gets promoted by others who have witnessed the same thing, or because they simply trust the news breaker. And from there, in no time

it spreads on the Internet as a wildfire.

Even most breaking news that is broken by mainstream media usually gets spread quicker on the social media. Information that has an immediate benefit – Say there is a discount going on or a coupon code with a limited number of entries. Here, you need to be quick – so the shares will come quicker than on normal content. And there is a benefit, so naturally more people share it as everyone wants to give their friends and community the benefits first.

Motivational content

This can even include small motivational stories of famous people, how they worked hard in difficult conditions that converted into success in later life. Motivation is something that works like a charm, people want to believe that if you do the hard work, you will get the desired results. Such content is shared and commented upon. People even start quoting those stories and they try to use those ideas in their own life. Social media is spreading and with each passing day, it catches even more people. This ever increasing social media has an insane thirst for content that can only be fulfilled with more and even more content. So, the more content you create, the more it will consume.
