AdAge published a fantastic article about overcoming PR nightmares. Corporate or personal missteps are the biggest reason for the “Is this Brian Newmark? I need your help” calls I receive.  Rather than trying to share my opinions, I think the best thing I can do is share the article which looks at Samsung burning batteries, Chipoltle bothched burritos, Volkswagon’s diesel discrepancy and United’s not so friendly skies.  Each of these companies has rebounded quite well.
